Club Membership

You can join the Mid-Wales Woodturners Club by asking for an application form at any club meeting. Membership is annual starting in January. Our constitution requires that all members of the club are also members of the AWGB.

The total cost is £29 for the 2025 calendar year comprising £5 club membership and £24 AWGB membership. There are reduced rates depending on when in the year you join. There are also family and junior rates. There is also an £11 charge per meeting to cover the costs of the venue and demonstrator.

Benefits of club membership:

• Club meetings with professional demonstrators.
• Free tuition at our Hands-On meetings.
• Access to the club library of DVDs, books and specialist tools.
• A range of benefits provided by the AWGB such as shop discounts (though limited), regular magazine, and training events.
• The Club also benefits from some financial support from the AWGB.
